While Forest Green Tree Service wasn't the cheapest quote, they were the most responsive and communicated much better than others. Brad worked with me on the stump grinding service too, as it was a bit of a tricky situation. The tree was near a gas line so he took it down a first time and after removing some material, I realized there was a bit more to do. So, we made a plan for him to come back and take it down a bit more. Forest Green guarantees their stump grinding service and this is a really nice benefit. Overall, I'm really satisfied with Forest Green and their services and would definitely give them a call if/when we have other needs. At least give them a chance to earn your business if you're calling around for quotes. read less

They worked tirelessly all day #1-- Brad trimming and his team hauling branches and grinding on premise. They moved from the front yard to the back on day #2, on time again & ready to work. They repeated the same as the day before, Brad trimming and conferring with us on canopy shape along the way, and his team hauling and grinding. The workers cooperated together, were polite to us as we conferred with Brad on tree shaping, and worked silently not disturbing neighbors in the process. It was a huge residential job of cutting & cleaning up, which they did in record time. The house, yard, and an outdoor shed along with a fence were left intact & untouched by their equipment in the process. The yard when they left, was spotless, not a stick or leaf left on the grass! Irish (I had work done from them before and was very happy) on Saturday morning and they said they would have an estimator out later that afternoon. At 4:30 I called and left a message asking if I could still expect the estimator that day. On Sunday I tried calling them one last time to see if/when someone was going to be out and here it is Tuesday and I still haven't heard back from them!! But, that's more than Okay because I found Forest Green in the meantime and they are going to be my new tree guys! My husband called them on Sunday and they got right out to assess the situation and give us a quote. With all the storm damage they weren't able to get the work done that night but said they would be back Monday. Due to other jobs they were on they weren't able to make it Monday but Brad was sure to communicate right away and let us know what was going on. They were out this morning and got the job done and cleaned up all the mess! Everyone on the crew that I came in contact with was very respectful. Also, I had talked to a guy from Timber Ridge that told me they wouldn't come out until I called my insurance company. After I explained to him that it wasn't that big of a job he told me it was (although he hadn't seen it) and proceeded to tell me about how their equipment they use costs $300,000 and tree work is expensive, blah blah blah. SO basically he was telling me that there are bigger jobs from the storm and he didn't feel like dealing with my small job.
